Blue Specttica was founded by Mr. Ananthakrishnan. M in the year 1999. Mr. Ananthakrishnan comes from a lineage that has expertise and experience in the optical field for the past several decades dating back to the pre-independence era. Ananthakrishnan’s grandfather, Mr. Bhakthavachala Naidu, started this trade during the British rule in the by lanes of Broadway, Chennai. The extended family manages several optical stores across Chennai and is considered as pioneers in the field for the past 100 years.

Our mission is to fulfil the cardinal need of empowering the vision of each human being in our society. We always make sure that we ardently cater to the requirements of all sections of people, by offering a wide variety of products, with varying price ranges, without compromising on quality.

Right now the online store and one of the offline store is managed by Mr. Yokesh Ananthakrishnan.

Currently, Blue Specttica operates with two retail showrooms in Nanganallur, Chennai.
